Capoeira is a game you play. To get better at the game, you have to train, and play, a lot. That’s where ADB comes in. In our classes we train hard, and play everyday. Classes start with a warm up and stretch, conditioning drills, and then instruction of basic techniques. After that we do partner exercises, movements up and down the floor, and/or stations. We regularly practice the music of capoeira, including on percussion instruments that we have at our studio. At the end of class we make a roda, where we put it all together and play the game of capoeira.
